'The brainchild of, and edited by, Robert Davidson .... this book is unique. Robert is involved in a charity called ‘Wateraid’ whose intention is to bring low-cost, low-tech, low-maintenance clean water and sanitation to Third World Countries. He approached almost 100 poets either living or working in Scotland or of Scottish connection and asked them to write a poem for him to use. Eighty-seven responded, with over 80 of them writing a new piece specifically for the volume. ....as far as I am aware, there has never been another poetry anthology published in Scotland which has such a variety of specifically-commissioned verse. The poets have given their work and all the royalties will go to the Wateraid charity. I would urge to go to Waterstones and have a browse through it. Think about buying it. It would make a wonderful gift to yourself or someone you love, an early Christmas present, a house-gift to a summer host or hostess and will help to bring the gift of water which brings life to those in need.'
